Why did you come to Denmark?
– I choose to come because of political reasons.

Is money important to you? Why not?
– Money is not as important as safety. l had a good job and I was earning good salary in Ivory Coast.

Will cut in financial support affect you?
– It will not affect me. If today l was denied money at all and l have a roof on top of me and protection l would not mind at all.

Could you have chosen another country if you knew they would cut the benefit?
– In the first place l didn’t choose to come to Denmark l just found myself here. If money is what brought me here l would not being in the camp for this many years. l could have gone somewhere else where l would completely work and get more money, but I’m still persevering here because l know I’m protected and safe.
