At Center Kongelunden painter Maria Dubin has made an art exhibition. She explains how drawings gives people power
The painter, Maria Dubin, volunteered to paint the empty white walls of Center Kongelunden for free. She graduated from Ecole Nationale de Superieure de Beaux Arts, Paris.
Maria Dubin said, ”I am honoured to be here, and to meet people from all over the world, and get to know their stories.”
She use a seahorse as symbol of a world wide friendship.
She explains, ”these drawings give people power and strength.”
Maria Dubin is very dedicated to her work and amazingly fast with precise movements of her painting brushes.
Her paintings are in many countries: Mexico, Serbia, Tunisia and all over Denmark especially in the area of Vanløse, which is her neighbourhood. Many cafes, restaurants and supermarkets have her paintings on their walls.
